Guidelines

IMPORTANT: We hold strong moral ethics and will not accept work with racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, or sexual violence. The only exception is if the submission is speaking from their own experiences of these things (not explicitly), however, no hate at all is tolerated.

What We do Want

Please follow the themes of the magazine
If you do not follow at least one or two of the themes or sub themes, your work will most likely not be selected or will be saved for a future issue.* We want to achieve a cohesive issue that is not jarring to read. Please branch out into new ideas while writing, you might surprise yourself! Be vulnerable and have fun!
Creative and Introspective Work
We don't want you to stay in your comfort zone (unless your comfort zone is our niche, then please stay!). Be creative and introspective, question everything and write beautifully. We love imagery and description here!
Compassionate but Creepy Writers
Show us that the morbid can be filled with good too. Not every story has to have a happy ending, but trying to incorporate some overarching themes that show us the good in the bad. Be kind and thoughtful with your words and influence of others. Thank you!

*using the overall themes of the magazine is accepted as well, however, please try to write for this issue.

What We don't Want

No excessive violence
Make sure that any violence serves a purpose and is
not for shock value (and follows the prior guidelines)
No glorification of self harm, drugs, sexual violence, or suicide
Be mindful that these topics can be triggering for others,
they can be discussed but with care, please
- if your work contains multiple triggers, pls attach a trigger
warning list in your document before submitting
NO AI-GENERATED CONTENT
This is a hard limit, as we want to keep our magazine a place
for real artists. Please do not use short cuts.
